The slewing drive, also called the rotary drive and gearbox because the core components are the slewing bearing and worm shaft. It also consists of auxiliary components such as seals, housing, and motor. As a power source, slew motor used DC planetary gear motor, AC gear motor or stepper motor. AC hydraulic motor is mainly used in the construction machinery as a power drive system. As the core component is slewing ring drive, slewing gearbox can readily withstand the axial and radial forces.
The slew drive working principle: The worm is driven by the motor, which drives the outer ring of the slewing ring to rotate; The outer ring output the torque through the flange and the inner ring of the slewing ring is fixed in the housing.
Slewing drive has reverse self-locking because of worm gear drive with reverse self-locking characteristics. This feature greatly enhances the stability of the host operating and safety factor. Compared to the traditional swing products, slewing drive gearbox is easy to install, easy to maintain, and saves considerable installation space.
The slewing drive is a new type of slewing product, usually called slewing ring, which is usually composed of worm, slewing ring, housing, motor and other components. Since the core components are slewing bearings, they can simultaneously withstand axial forces, radial forces, and overturning moments. 1. Adopt dual supporting structure for output shaft so that the max torque of gearbox is increased a lot.
2. Sun wheel and planetary wheel are connected by spline which increase the max torque of gearbox and lengthen the life.
3. We use helical gear at input stage which make the noise low anf run smoothly in high speed. The inner gear ring is separated so that we can make more ratio and the design is flexible. Gearbox and motor are located by a seam fix by screw in axial which increase the matching precision and reduce noise.
4. We use rolling pin holder inside planetary wheel.we use rolling pin grinding instead of sliding grinding so the life of gearbox is much longer.
5. Double supporting structure; Internal grinding on inner bore of planetary gears making the inner bore roundness less than 0.003mm;running by rolling instead of sliding; HRC60 gear surface precision scraping;The adopting of all these technoligies ensure the super quiet and steady operating and a long life time over 10000 hours.
